If you add a link to a non-existing page and click the link, you are taking to the edit-mode of that page.

But when you add a link to a file, because you want to upload it - say { { test.pdf } } - and you click the link, you are taking to the "Download test.pdf as application/pdf" (display) page, even when the file does not exist.

Shouldn't hatta take you to the edit (upload) page?

You are correct, it's fixed in the development version. – Radomir Dopieralski
